I'm told by the coushotta police everything is closed that day for a funeral. I go to the courthouse to start a civil lawsuit on the 8th. Go back Monday and am told if I ask about my cell phone again I will be arrested.

I then waited to speak to her in front of the security desk from 8:30am until 2pm and then was told she was not in that day. I was told to meet with Joyce Smith who was head of risk management who would be in Thursday at 8:30am. Told by security they had the name, phone number and address of the person who took it but would give me nothing. Security then gave the phone to the wrong person. Security took my phone back to the security desk to be claimed. Coushatta Louisiana is in a place a lot of people visit often but should and if and when you do make sure you try the York chop AKA the best restaurant in town.On Wednesday February 3rd my phone was left in poker room charging. This place could actually make it in larger cities with more competition because the service is friendly fast and the food makes you want to come back for more. Not the best barbecue I've ever had but far far far from the worst. Love their pickle veggies as well as their sides. The brisket could have honestly then a little bit smokey and tender but the sausage was perfect. The knuckleball is a combination of chopped brisket and sausage and is well smoked and tender. When I walked in and I asked what was good and they told me I needed to try a knuckleball sandwich. and chicken but you can also get catfish, shrimp, and a few other specialties. They have your typical barbecue sausage ribs brisket.

When you walk in you notice that the ambiance is rustic and Country cozy. The York Chop is a quaint little barbecue and seafood joint you'd like to think exists tucked away in every little small town.
